RAINWATER HARVESTING
A rainwater harvesting system, ranging from simple barrels to complex setups with pumps and purifiers, captures and stores rain for various uses. It collects water from roof-like surfaces, directing it to a storage facility. This eco-friendly method not only conserves water but also contributes to a sustainable future.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
A rainwater harvesting system that begins by gracefully capturing rainwater from expansive surfaces such as roofs. The harvested rainwater then embarks on a transformative journey, passing through meticulously designed layers of filters, ensuring its purity and clarity. It is then gracefully transferred to an underground or over-ground holding tank, awaiting its moment to shine. Atop the tank, an outlet elegantly directs the overflowing water to a water body, be it a well, lake, or pond, where it can gracefully merge with nature. When the need arises, the filtered water can be summoned with grace and precision, flowing directly to appliances or a header tank.

OUR MINIATURE MODEL
To tackle the global crisis of contaminated rainwater, this plan proposes an innovative solution: a rainwater harvesting system with a built-in purifying mechanism. This system can capture, store, and cleanse the rainwater from harmful substances such as “forever chemicals,” air pollution, and heavy metals. The creator of this model, Shubh Pawaiya, has showcased it to the government authorities, hoping to gain their support for this noble initiative.
OUR PRESENTATION TO SUBHASH YADAV
As a part of our awareness campaign, our Team Leader Shubh Pawaiya showcased our innovative rainwater harvesting system to Subhash Yadav, the IFS officer and the CEO of Urban Environment at the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA). He demonstrated how our miniature model could conserve water and benefit the environment.
